1. Ph.D. Musicology/Ethnomusicology: York University, Toronto, Canada. (Dissertation: The Life, Music and Improvisational Style of Herbert Lawrence “Sonny” Greenwich). Awarded April 24, 2006. My comprehensive exams (“An Examination of Approaches to Musical Analysis in Ethnomusicology” and “Look Who’s Talking: I-Witnessing, Authority and “Other”(ing) in Ethnography” were awarded a Pass with Distinction.
